IREX Changelog

Release 4.38

IREX 4.38 Changelog

New features

4.38.0

  1. The platform can now capture traffic violations for failure to yield to public transit vehicles. These violations are configured through "Violation rules" of the "Forbidden maneuvers" type, which specify the vehicle lists and plate number templates allowed on a given road segment. The Settings page has a new Plate number templates tab for creating and managing vehicle plate number templates.
  2. The platform can now run multiple video analytics modules on a single camera at the same time.
  3. The GunTrack module now uses updated weapon detection and classification models. It detects weapons more accurately, including at a distance from the camera.
  4. Event video frames now have a separate retention period, independent of the event retention period. The frame retention period can’t exceed the event retention period. After it expires, the event card shows the default system image.
  5. The Logbook page can now generate a CSV report of the logbook entries that match the selected search criteria. The report remains available to view and download for 24 hours. A new "Logbook report downloaded" event type records each download.
  6. On the Logbook page, the detail cards for the "Live video loaded" and "Archived video loaded" entries now show the played-back video end time. The platform creates these entries when playback ends, or every three hours during long playback sessions. The additional filters now include a "Played back video date/time" field for searching by playback interval.
  7. The FaceTrack Pro module now estimates a person’s age and detects eyeglasses more accurately.
  8. The Alarm Monitor create and edit forms have a new design. The "Use webhook" field was renamed to "Send events to external systems".
  9. In the ObjectTrack module, the pedestrian detector was replaced. The new detector reduces false detections of "Failure to yield to pedestrian" violations.

Technical improvements

4.38.0

  1. The cursor now moves more smoothly during move and resize operations on player and map elements.
  2. The deprecated "SynOnDestroyService" service, which previously managed UI component lifecycles, was removed.
  3. The deprecated "SynLet" element, which previously handled local variables in interface templates, was removed.
  4. The interface templates were refactored. The internal structure of interface elements was updated.
  5. The "image-player", "order-selector", and "dialog-batch-delete-details" UI components now use an optimized internal code structure.
  6. The platform now processes video streams for video analytics modules more efficiently.
  7. Interface styles now use standardized size units.
  8. The "GVA" library image was updated to version 3.3.2 and now runs as the "root" user by default.

Resolved issues

4.38.0

  1. On the Logbook page, the "Case ID" parameter no longer appears in the detail cards of records with the following event types: "Person list export started", "Person list import started", "Exported person list deleted", "Vehicle list export started", "Vehicle list import started", and "Exported vehicle list deleted". It also no longer appears in the records created when a video is uploaded, edited, or deleted: "Location created", "Access granted to a user group for a resource", "Access granted to the resources at the location", and "Camera added".
  2. In dropdown filters with a search field, selecting a value no longer moves focus away from the selection.
  3. On the Events page, the "Match" and "No Match" events from cameras with the "Thermal Cameras" sensor type now correctly show the detected person on the first frame, cropped from the full video frame.
  4. The FaceTrack Pro module running on GPU now correctly generates the "Match" and "No Match" events.
  5. On the Logbook page, record detail cards now show photos correctly. When a photo is added to a person or vehicle card, the record’s detail card shows the added photo. For a search by photo performed on the Events or People pages, the record’s detail card shows the photo used for the search.
  6. The system notification icon now shows the "System notification" tooltip.
  7. On the 16-, 20-, and 25-camera layouts, video streams from all cameras now play when more than 10 cameras are added.
  8. In the messenger bot, search for events by camera name, ID, and IP, and by filter values now works correctly. The "Date and Time" filter now uses the user’s time zone instead of server time.
  9. On the People page, the icon size and the hover outline color on person cards now match the design.
  10. In vehicle lists, the text on vehicle cards no longer shifts after the "Select" button is used.
  11. In person and vehicle lists, the size of the "Recognize" dialog box now matches the design.
  12. In person and vehicle lists, the "Recognition mode" filter now shows the number of selected items.
  13. On the layout page, camera tiles no longer shift.

4.38.1

  1. In the new player, some cameras now show the archive recording timeline. The timeline excludes recording fragments caused by signal loss, so they don’t affect the display of the rest of the archive.
  2. For traffic violation capture, the platform now correctly determines the order in which a vehicle crosses the entry and exit lanes when the vehicle passes through a road object again within a short time. The platform matches the entry and exit from the same pass, not from different passes.
