New Features

4.41.0

  1. The platform can now capture "Driving without insurance" traffic violations. A new "Vehicle insurance DB" tab on the Settings page holds records of valid vehicle insurance.
  2. The User Groups page now has a "Copy group" option. It copies a user group, along with its subgroups, users, and resource access, into a selected group.
  3. On the list tabs of the Settings page, the default sort order is now "Newest".
  4. In the new player, the "Options" menu now includes "Show nearby cameras". Selecting a nearby camera on the map or on a plan plays its video from the same point in time as the current camera.
  5. In the new player, pausing an event video now shows a yellow box around the vehicle, person, or abandoned item. The box appears for video streamed over WebSocket.
  6. In the new player, the "Search in archive" tab on the events panel now shows the total number of events found in "Line crossing", "Motion in region", or "Abandoned item" mode.

Technical Improvements

  1. A backup listener on port 10000 was removed from the "stream-info" service, which reads video-stream properties when a camera is created or updated.
  2. Error messages for server requests were standardized to a single format and appear in pop-up notifications.
  3. The internal structure of UI components was refactored. The refactoring covers the components for video analytics modules, persons, vehicles, Alarm Monitors, events, and the integration pages for external systems and biometric terminals.
  4. In the Bike Lanes module, video processing is faster.
  5. Before video analytics starts on a GPU, the platform now checks that the server is available.
  6. The FireTrack and TrafficLights modules use RAM more efficiently.
  7. For traffic violations, the full video frame before a line crossing is taken closer to the line, two license-plate widths away. This avoids cases where the vehicle is not yet in the full frame captured by a "Traffic Light" or "Overview" camera.

Resolved Issues

  1. On the Logbook page, the detail card for a "Search in logbook" entry now shows the "Case ID" parameter used in the search.
  2. On the Logbook page, face cards for a loaded photo in the "Photo or descriptor file used" form on the "Persons" tab of the additional filters were brought in line with the design. Card size and spacing were corrected, and only the selected card has a shadow.
  3. In some "Driving without technical allowance" violations, the full video frames at the start and end of the control zone are no longer identical.
  4. On "Space mean speed above limit" violation cards, "Actually: … km/h" no longer appears. It still appears on the detail cards for those violations.
  5. On the Violation rules page, the section title in the rule settings form was realigned to the center of the field next to it.
  6. On the Violation rules page, clicking "Save" now merges identical rules automatically.
  7. The unused "level" parameter was removed from CarTrack Pro server requests for the "Speed control zone" traffic object.
  8. In the CarTrack Pro module, the "Speed control zone" traffic object now accounts for the "Speed limit, km/h" parameter. The platform does not record an "Overtaking" violation if the vehicle being overtaken stays at or below that limit in the zone.
  9. The "channel" service, which receives camera video and runs the video analytics modules, is more stable.
  10. The "channel" service writes video-processing data more reliably when the CarTrack Pro and ObjectTrack Pro modules run together.
  11. The CarTrack Pro module works more reliably.
  12. In the TrafficLights module, the platform no longer generates false "Arrow light change" events when the main signal changes.
  13. In the Bike Lanes module, the platform no longer generates false "Line crossing" events when a cyclist is traveling in the allowed direction.
  14. In the Bike Lanes module, the platform no longer generates false "Not a bike" events when a cyclist rides through.
  15. In the CrowdCount module, "Crowd after … sec" was renamed to "Create event after … sec", and "Recount every … sec" was renamed to "Check every … sec". In the CarTrack Pro module, "No sooner than after ... sec" was renamed to "Interval between events, sec".
  16. On the "Cameras" tab of the Settings page, opening a camera name link in a new tab from the browser context menu was restored. The new tab shows the Video Analytics settings page.
  17. On the "Alarm Monitors" tab of the Settings page, the button for creating an Alarm Monitor no longer disappears when the monitor detail panel is open.
  18. Webhook delivery of "Signal loss" events from Alarm Monitors to external systems was restored.
  19. In the FaceTrack Pro module, with the "Run on GPU" option turned on, "Match" events are now generated.
  20. For "Motion in region", "Region entrance", and "Loitering" events in the MotionTrack Pro module, the object now appears in the image cropped from the video frame at the moment of the event.
