Sign in as Admin

Admin accounts originate from one parent "Super Admin" account created in the course of IREX installation and deployment with pre-known credentials. Any IREX Admin can create more new Admin accounts.

To sign in, navigate to the IREX sign-in screen. You can get the URL of the sign-in screen from some other System Admin or from an email invitation.

We recommend bookmarking the IREX URL provided by any of IREX System Admins or through an email invitation so signing in to IREX is easy in the future.

Once the URL is known, enter it into the address bar in the browser window.

Multi-factor Authentication (MFA)

Multi-factor authentication (MFA) is a technology to enhance your organization's security by requiring your users to identify themselves by more than a username and password. Enforcing the use of an MFA factor like a thumbprint or physical hardware key or a one-time password (OTP) means increased confidence that your organization will stay safe from cybercriminals. MFA is widely used wherever enhanced security is concerned; CJIS requires MFA too. With IREX MFA is an optional component that can be deployed upon the Customer's request.

  • Email one-time password.

The option is not suitable for private network deployment without an Internet connection.

  • SMS one-time password.

The option is not suitable for private network deployment without an Internet connection.

  • Biometric authentication with face recognition

It needs a camera on the user's device and favorable external conditions, e.g. enough lighting.

Please contact your IREX representative about the availability of the MFA capability in your region.
